MARTY THE MASCOT

The year 1950 marked the beginning of one of the most disturbing decades in the history of Careyville, Illinois. A string of mysterious disappearances and an arson attack at a supper club eventually spurred a city-wide investigation into Marty the Mascot.

Marty was a successful milkman; everyone loved him. In fact, the people of Careyville used to wear masks of Marty’s face. There wasn’t a family in Careyville without such a mask.

However, times eventually grew tough for everyone’s favorite milkman. Due to the convenience of grocery stores, Marty’s milk deliveries soon faded into obscurity.

Marty, sinking to a new level of desperation, began concocting obnoxious ploys to encourage people to order his once-beloved milk.

It wasn’t long before the citizens of Careyville became annoyed and angered by his over-the-top antics. Much to Marty’s contempt, he became dubbed the “Mascot Menace.”

Marty needed to come up with a new plan that would encourage people to wear their Marty masks once again. So, he engineered a new milk using a secret ingredient: the townspeople.

Strange disappearances began occurring, which thoroughly alarmed the Careyville residents. In a last-ditch effort to promote his new milk, Marty threw a party at a local supper club to launch his special “high-protein” milk.

The townspeople showed up at the party outraged. They wanted the mascot out! During the party, however, the supper club mysteriously caught fire, and the Mascot Menace disappeared. He hasn’t been seen since then . . . until now.

A large, cartoonish character has been spotted once again, this time wreaking havoc in nightclubs throughout the country. He is believed to be traveling with an accomplished SKAM artist by the name of Jerzy. The two are considered to be extremely dangerous.
